8-3-11  / Just this week I was invited to go to the Western University of Health Science College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific to meet the Comp-Northwest Inaugural Class of 2015.  What a great event.  I was given a tour of the finished building by a student, served a bufet breakfast and treated like a VIP.  There were 200 of us that had contributed to the Tools of the Trade Donor Appreciation Reception.  The local Chamber has a room there as well with all our names on a plack that donated to the Tools of the Trade which outfitted each student with their first medical bab.

Back in 2008 I started hearing about the new medical university.  I contacked Larry Mullins the CEO of Samritian Health to learn more.  He invited me to a brief meeting showing the dream of the new medical university to other Doctors and Affiliates.  It was so exciting to hear the news first hand.  I have stayed in touch and followed the process.
I was invited to take a tour of the new University when it opened with others.  It was so nice and vission of what other businesses and opportunities was very exciting too.
After the tour I joined "we support  Comp-NW Medical Students.  This is a neat program that supplies graduates with their first medical bag.  On August 2nd I will be going to an appreciation reception at Comp-Northwest , Heritage Hall where I will get to greet  and meet  our Comp-Northwest Inaugural Class of 2015.  I can hardly wait.
This new medical university has stimulated the Lebanon econemy already and there is more to come.
